The US government pays it to promote the service in China and Iran in order to help promote free speech. Such programs like this are becoming popular in the West. Anonymizer encrypts your entire request for web pages and its servers then automatically gather the content on your behalf and send it back to you. No humans are involved and the company does not keep records of who request what. However there is some censorship and anonymizer does not support anonymous uploading to the web and it blocks the access to material that would be illegal under US law.

Ultimately, no matter what religion you are, or gender, you should be able to choose your own means of socializing and not be judged on your actions or punished for them- the internet is an option and for those who are against it, they should not use it. The only adverse effect is that beliefs that are illegal or socially unacceptable such as child pornography, neo-Nazism, racism, etc, can be broadcast through the Net with little or no censorship

It not only benefits the socialites but these online websites can allow professionals to gain new business contacts or even find new and more rewarding business deals. Friendster lets users build up a network of friends through other friends they know on the network. Business networking online is based on the same concept; users can build contacts through third-party introductions. This is therefore an advantageous facility offered on the Internet as these business-networking sites could lead to better connections.

And they argue that the people are more likely to take advantage of children because they are much easier for the paedophiles to prey on them.

Internet does affect people and their way of life because the internet because using the internet has no boundaries, therefore some people take advantage of it for example watching porn. “And internet was likely to be behind this increase in child sexual abuse”.

The reliability of the internet is depending on the structure of the place where it set and how human is going to use it.The internet is not always reliable as it might go wrong sometime. For example, the earthquake which happened in Taiwan on Dec 2006 has seriously affected the internet and phone connection service in most of the Asia countries as the earthquake has damaged the undersea cable. The disruption was wide spread as it was hitting china, Japan South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and etc.
It needs to take quite a long time to repair the damage line. Somebody said that it is the most suitable time for internet to collapse as many people are away to having their holiday, so there are low trading volumes. However, some people felt that it was a nightmare for them as they did not what have happening to market that day as there were no internet.
As a result, internet is unreliability resource because we don’t know when it’s work, and when it’s collapse.

IT has been the major factor a reducing these boundaries. An example of this is a dramatic event which can be broadcasted over the world via television or the internet. However the Internet can become or has become the source of Cultural Homogeneity and also lead to more Cultural awareness which may lead to less diversity.Issues with Globalization and Cultural Diversity?
The issue with Globalization & Cultural Diversity is old lasting cultures and traditions may be lost to the ever growing internet. An example of this is China, look at China before compared to now. China is rapidly going through Westernization and Globalization. We all could soon become one culture, the culture of the digital world that is. With Web 2.0 is helping the process of Globalization and Cultural Diversity much faster. An example of this is Social Networking Sites. You can make a profile to share with the world! This makes the bridge of culture much smaller.People now will use the internet for everything! People will soon think of new ways of abusing the internet. The internet has given us a new language, wider view on the world but couldn’t that also kill us? Even though there is more cultural awareness present today because of the internet, people could abuse the internet for racial slurs, propaganda, illegal projects, stealing important information from different countries. The internet is now used for warfare tactics by hacking/spying for recon. This is all caused because we are more connected than before. But is really that bad?

The relevance of cultural diversity and globalization in relation to the internet is extremely crucial. Cultures are becoming more and more developed due to the use of technology and the internet, especially by means of networking. Some might also argue that cultures are perhaps suffering because of the use of technology too. However, there are so many cases which illustrate cultural diversity and globalization as a positive fixation. Globalization is often a term associated with ‘taking over the world’ well, yes this does relate but not always in a negative (or mad scientist) manner, it is to do with how popular something can become, when something goes global, a very good example of this the internet itself the ‘world wide web’. Globalization also involves the theme of modernization, as things globalize they also modernize and enhance.
Cultural diversity issues:
In Muslim countries many women are not able to socialize the way women in western countries, in different religions are able to. It is heard of that some women, in the Muslim religion take photos of themselves without their traditional/religious head coverings to other Muslim women and perhaps men in order to introduce, socialize, etc. This was done by sending emails over the internet or by camera cell phone usage, unfortunately Muslim religion forbids the showing of your ‘Awah’- direct translation for body parts which aren’t to be shown, for women these areas are every body part except the hands and eyes (extremist Muslims). This trend of personal socializing is diminishing because of the strict religious laws.
Solution: Some have said that this is a very positive cultural diversity issue, it is breaking the barriers of oppressed social skills in Muslim women, and of course Muslim leaders and many believers take this new found social aspect insulting. Muslim women are expected to obey and abide by Muslim religion to show that they are committed and believe. So, to act out of the ordinary and not by custom, it has created highly tense problems. Ultimately, no matter what religion you are, or gender, you should be able to choose your own means of socializing and not be judged on your actions or punished for them- the internet is an option and for those who are against it, they should not use it.
An example of Globalization is the search engine Google becoming more dominant in the global market. Google has been very successful with its search engine because it is accessible to almost everybody, anywhere, mainly because Google offers there services in a range of languages in order for all users to be able to understand and use Google search.
Evaluation:
I think that the globalization epidemic is happening very fast, maybe even too fast. I hope that in a few years time we have indeed enhanced technologies but I also hope that our cultural diversities aren’t too far out of the spectrum. Technology is rapidly changing and with that we must all adjust too.
