Carmen Machado owns a business, Foto Creativa , specializing in providing memorabilia for families. She is based in Santander, northern Spain, and runs the business from a shop in the centre of the city. Carmen studied in England for several years and was awarded a university degree in Creative Digital Media. When she returned to Spain she set up a simple web site to help advertise her business. Over the three years that the business has operated it has increased its range of services to include the following:
• digitizing photos, modifying and improving images/photos from customers
• editing video, converting video and home movies to digital media
• creating and selling digital photo albums
• “stitching” photos together to form one image
• creating multimedia presentations combining text, images, videos, animation and other digital elements
• selling posters, mugs, t-shirts and other products with customer images and photographs.

Telbru also offers a virtual e-mail which allows a user to customize their e-mail address to insert the name of their company into your address e.g user@[companyname].com.bn. TelBru offers domain names ending with "com.bn", "edu.bn", "org.bn" and "net.bn. Simpur (DST) is currently adjusting their prices for web hosting and will be releasing soon. Once released, you can promote your business and products on any page of the Simpur portal, and Simpur's popular social networking site, “The Lounge”. You'll also be able to promote your products through Simpur-organized competitions which will be regularly mentioned on KRISTALfm.

They offer 4 different web hosting packages: Web Free, Web Home, Web Lite and Web More, each providing more “Web space” with the smallest package allowing 5MB and the largest allowing 65MB. Each package also offers Web-Email services. I honestly think that TelBru is the best option to host a website in Brunei even when Simpur rolls out due to the many options they offer.

e. An I.P address is a computer's numeric address which helps to identify the device within a network. It allows different devices to communicate with each other within that network. A fixed I.P address means your computer uses the same address every time you log on to the Internet. It is fixed because the ISP (Internet service provider) assigns a computer a permanent I.P address on the internet. With a fixed IP address, Internet users always know the identity of your computer and can easily connect with it.
f. The domain name system translates the IP address into words as it is easier to remember a phrase rather than a series of numbers. A domain name server translates Internet domain names or the text of your URLs into associated IP addresses. This is done by checking your URL with the IP address lookup tables in the C:\windows directory in your computer's hard drive.

A RAID (redundant array of inexpensive devices) back-up system that contains many SCSI (Small computer system interface) drives that are organized in a way that when one drive fails, the storage system continues to function without any data being lost in the process. Most RAID systems include features such as redundant power supplies, software to configure, and monitors the system. External hard drives are portable drives, used as a back-up hardware device because they contain high storage capacity for HD photos & videos, animations, or other multimedia.
